Create your account and pick your business type

Your account takes a minute to set up, and your business type decides which designs and wording you start with.

Steps

1. Go to sotera.to/signup. The page is headed Create your site.
2. Under Your plan, pick a plan and choose Monthly or Yearly.
3. Enter your Business name. Your web address is made from it.
4. Under What do you do?, pick the closest match, for example Hair salon / braider, Plumbing, or Travel agency.
5. Enter your Email and a Password (at least 8 characters).
6. Click Continue to add a card.
7. Open the confirmation email we send and click the link. Open it on the same device you signed up on.
8. On One last step, click Start …-day free trial on your plan and enter your card on the secure Stripe page.
9. You land on your dashboard. The Get ready to take bookings list on the Overview page shows what to do next: add services, set your hours, then pick a design and publish.

Good to know

• Nothing is charged until the free trial ends. Cancel before then from Billing → Manage billing & invoices and you pay nothing.
• Until a card is added, logging in takes you back to One last step. If you closed the Stripe page, choose your plan there again.
• If you see "Confirm your email first" when logging in, the confirmation link hasn't been clicked yet. Check your spam folder.
• You can change your business type later in Settings → What you do. It changes which designs are suggested and the default headline.
• Your web address is yourname.sotera.to. It does not change if you rename your business later, so links you've shared keep working.
• Signing up from the trades or travel pages shows only those business types.
