Add choices like size and length

When a service costs more for longer hair, a bigger room or a longer session, use choices.

Steps

1. Open the service in Services & pricing (or click + New service).
2. Under How is this priced?, choose Depends on choices.
3. Enter the Base price ($) and Base time (minutes): the cheapest version.
4. Click + Add a choice and name it in Choice, for example "Size" or "Length".
5. For each option, type its name, an optional note, how much it Adds $ and how many minutes it Adds min. Click + Add option for more.
6. Add a second or third choice if needed (for example Size and Length).
7. Check What clients will pay. It shows every combination's price and time. To set an exact price for one combination, type it in that box; clear the box to go back to the worked-out price.
8. Click Create service or Save changes.

Good to know

• A service can have up to three choices, each with up to 12 options.
• Every choice needs a name and at least one option.
• Your site shows "from" the cheapest price. Clients must pick an option in every choice before they see times.
• A combination can't work out to a negative price or less than 5 minutes; you'll get a message naming the combination.
• Custom prices are highlighted and marked "custom" in the grid.
