Troubleshooting
My website isn't showing or says it isn't published
Why visitors can't see your site, or see a preview bar, and how to fix it.
Until your site is published, only you can see it, and visitors get a "page not found" message.
Steps
- Go to Website. The top card says Your site is live or Your site isn't published yet.
- If it isn't published, click Publish.
- Click View ↗ and check the address. It should be
yourname.sotera.to, or your own domain once it's connected. - If you see a dark bar at the bottom saying "Preview — your site isn't published yet. Only you can see this.", you're signed in and seeing the preview. Publish to make it public.
- If the bar says "Previewing the … design", you're looking at another design. Visitors still see your current one.
Good to know
- If you have no bookable services, the booking page says online booking isn't open yet. Add a service.
- A new domain can take up to a day to work. Your Sotera address works meanwhile.
- New sites can take days to weeks to appear in Google search, even when published.
If it still doesn't work
- Try the address in a private browser window, on your phone's mobile data.
- If your site is published but visitors still get "page not found", your account may have been paused. Email hello@sotera.to with your business name and web address.
Still stuck? Open your dashboard and press Help: it can look at your account, and reach the Sotera team for you.
